? QUESTION

They are running over a WAN and the DTC and Image manager are installed on both of their terminal servers. Today, I noticed that as different users logged into the terminal servers, the dtc configuration screen had to be setup for each user. Is there a way to set this up so it populates for all users automatically?

The settings can be exported from the registry, and then imported user by user, by double clicking the exported *.reg file, or right click and open with the registry editor.

To create the file, locate the following key in the registry after having configured dtc, using regedit: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Synergetic Data Systems Inc.\UnForm Desktop Client\Defaults.

Then use File, Export to create a .reg file of the settings.  Edit the file and set the password to null (""), as that is an encoded value specific to a user and I don't think it would be the same for different users, even if the unform login is universal.  Copy that file to the users who need to import the settings, and they can do the import process.  Then the user should only have to type in the password in configuration.
