Microsoft Office Document Imaging (MODI) was included with Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007, but was removed by Microsoft in Office 2010. The Image Manager relies on MODI for high-qualiity full text OCR, so this has forced users to remain on Office 2003 or 2007 in order to retain access to MODI. However, Microsoft has provided several methods to install MODI without one of those older Office suites. Here is an article to their suggestions:
