The 'unform' user requires full access to the UnForm installation directory and its subdirectories. In traditional Linux security, this simply means "rwx" or 777 access for that user. Under SELinux, you may need to grant additional ACL permissions. If you find that UnForm hangs on startup, try this command line as root:
setfacl -R -m u:unform:rwx unform-directory
