An update to Windows or Excel in September, 2018 caused an error to occur when General exports a report to Excel using DDE, which is how the character mode interface does the export. This was addressed by an update on September 27, 2018. The patch affected just one program, which had not changed since 2011, so in addition to a full update, we are providing a single-file patch.
The attached zip file contains both BBx and ProvideX versions of the patch, in gen60_bb and gen60_pv subdirectories, respectively. These file replace existing files in your relatively current General 6.0 installation (i.e. installed since mid-2011). We recommend you backup the current version of the program you install, and test a character mode export, in case the transfer was corrupted in some way.
